Thanks to all of you that came to see Achren at Metalcamp – what a gig that was! If you still want to see us on this Summer’s festival tour, you can catch us at 14:15 on Thursday 04/08/11 at Wacken Open Air’s WET Stage.
Then Achren will be opening Bloodstock Open Air on Thursday 11/08/11 shortly after 5pm on the Sophie Lancaster Stage where we will be officially releasing our debut album, The Forgotten King.

It seems the album will indeed be released on 11th August (pre-release orders just might make it out before this); digital release is also confirmed. Amazon have some previews on their site, and the digital release will be available on itunes, amazon and most other sites from 11th August onwards.

The Achren Album ‘The Forgotten King’ is now available for pre-order on our merchandise page. Scheduled for release at Bloodstock Festival, the album was mixed by Matias Helle at Drophammer Studios, Finland and mastered by Jens Bogren (Opeth, Amon Amarth, Paradise Lost, Devin Townsend) at Fascination Street Studios, Sweden. It’s been one hell of a wait but we’ve managed to get something that captures the live aggression of the band and combines it with a powerful production from some of the best in the business.
